What exactly is coaching?

Coaching is a conversation that changes how you see the problem.  And once that shifts, the solution usually isn’t far behind.

1:1 Coaching

Most people who come to me for 1:1 coaching aren't looking for someone to hand them an answer. They're looking for someone to help them think more clearly about a problem they've been carrying around longer than they'd like to admit. I bring honest questions, a different vantage point, and enough patience to sit with the messy middle until something useful comes into focus.

Group & Team Coaching

Teams don't struggle because the individuals in them aren't capable. They struggle because capable people, left to their own assumptions, stop really listening to each other. Group and team coaching is a way back to that. It brings people together not to reach a predetermined outcome but to build something harder to manufacture: genuine understanding, shared trust, and the confidence to be honest with one another. That's what makes a team work over the long haul.

Workshops

I believe in coaching. I've had some really good ones and they changed how I lead. I also think most organizations are sitting on a lot of untapped coaching capacity, in leaders and managers who care deeply about their people but haven't been given many tools for those conversations. That's the gap I try to close through workshops and custom programs. Not theory. Practical stuff y'all can actually use the following Monday.
